i was worried that i would get bored/depressed. nothing could be further from the truth.
- i have made a whole slew of frozen meals for when the tyke gets here.
with it's accompanying menu and instructions so that i don't have to use any brain power whatsoever when it comes time to prepare dinner. {oh, don't worry - i'm not this organized - i had a lot of inspiration and help from my friend, sherry}
- i completed my car seat canopy.
- i was able to attend institute with some friends from the ward. it's held during the day every wednesday and lunch is served after. it's a lot of fun and i look forward to attending regularly.
- i've been trying to figure out how to use my new lens. once i get the hang of it, i think i will really like it.

Suuuuuure, rub it in.
Did you seriously take that flower picture? ummm... wow.
That is incredible! You're a genius.
I may not have freshly laid out Frozen dinners, but I have some Tyson popcorn chicken in there- probably enough for 5 good meals. I've been making fabric flowers in preparation. I'm up to about 10- how many do I really need to make? Apparently I'm more into how cute she looks than how full Deven is. Any day! I can't wait!!!!
LOVE this! I absolutely adore being a stay-at-home wife. I get so offended when people ask me if I get bored, there is SOOOO much to do! Once I spent and entire week searching for the perfect pillows for my living room. I mean, technically I do actually work from home, but in any case I'm a stay-at-home wife. :)
That is impressive! I would have never thought to do that for myself:) We are so excited for you guys!!!!
Umm, I want that creamy quinoa primavera recipe. sounds yummy. Excellent planning ahead, too. I just rely on Trevor to order pizza for himself and have cold cereal for breakfast:)
That Sherry will get to ya. :)
I love the car seat cover!! It's darling! By the way, I swear your sweet Papa was on my plane to Chicago from Salt Lake to Chicago on Monday...was it him? Also, I think you need to post that amazing little menu with recipes! I would love to copy your idea now that I am back to work and haven't been too terrific at making any sort of dinner! I am so excited for you to meet your sweet little angel boy!! Love ya!
ummm. you are a genius! That meal calendar is amazing! not only for when your baby comes...I could totally use it! I'm usually brain dead by the time dinner time rolls around anyways! I'm so excited for you!! {p.s. apparently I missed your baby shower you had in the ward here...but I do have a gift. eventually I'll give it to you :).}
You are so prepared! I so wasn't there when I had Anne...you will be amazing. Loving your pictures of Pittsburgh. They make me homesick. I am missing my Pittsburgh friends. It makes me so happy when I see your name pop up on my phone...good luck in the next days.
The meals/menu plan is genius. Totally wishing I had that myself about now.
Meanwhile, the flower picture is AMAZING! wow.
