tannon quickly learned not to compliment haitians. as soon as he could say, "i really like your hat", they had taken their hat off their head and insisted that he have it.
i feel so helpless. all i can do is pray my guts out for them and donate money. i know that if the situation were reversed, they would be giving us all that they could give, even if it meant them going without.
***to donate, go here or text “Yele” to 501501, which will automatically donate $5 to the Yele Haiti Earthquake Fund (it will be charged to your cell phone bill).

I can't stop thinking about it either and all of the people who could still be stuck under buildings and no one has found them yet. I wish we could all just go there and help out. Tell Tannon we are praying for all the people there. Hope you are doing well!
I think it's too easy for me to not be affected by this, and this morning I made it not an option to skip the news. It is something I can't fathom. what a tragedy for an already poor country..
So awful - it's just horrendous. It's nice to see how many people are trying to help in small ways - I just hope it's enough to make an impact.
I know what you mean about feeling helpless. It is such a sad situation and I am sure it hits close to you and Tannon.
I forgot that Tannon served his mission there. I can't imagine how much more heart breaking that must be for him to watch. Love you guys.
I was thinking about you guys the other day, I remembered that Tannon served his mission there. I thought you guys might be feeling extra sad. It is horrible, I can't hardly watch the news on it anymore, breaks my heart!!
Paul and I thought of Tannon the day the earth quake hit. So sad!! I watched CNN like all day the other day and my heart just breaks for those people.
It is so horrible, I couldn't even imagine it. Brayden told me this morning that we need to say extra prayers for the people in Haiti. It is so unbelievably sad.
