Announcement

So... Tannon and I have been planning on this for a while now. We didn't exactly know when the timing was right, but once it happens, it's too late... ready or not, here it comes. We are really excited about this new transition in our lives and know it is a ginormous change.

It looks like we're moving to Pittsburgh!

Tannon got accepted to a few different Dental schools and he LOVED Pittsburgh. He loved the school, the city, everything. I'm excited and scared out of my wits. Okay, I'm freaking out. Here's to our new adventure!

Lauritz and I go to Pennsylvania often - mostly to Philadelphia. Maybe our paths will cross out here. Amish country is fantastic - you'll love it. With you and Tannon out here, maybe the Cardon's will visit more often. :o) Congrats on the move!

Congratulations to Tannon... even though we're all going to be so sad when you go. We'll come visit you all the time... hope flights are cheap to PA!

We haven't been to Pittsburgh but maybe we will now that we will know someone there. Tannon will be glad to know that Glenn usually makes several stops in Pennsylvania whenever he's doing book signings. Maybe we can meet up at one of those some time!

AH! Is it ok for me to now be excited and not have to worrying about getting my hopes up??? Well I sure hope so because I'm SOOO excited and I can't believe that my best friend is going to only be 4 hours away from me now. AHHHHHHHH!!!!! You don't know how excited I am. Nice work Tannon applying and getting into Pittsburgh! YAY!

That is so exciting! You guys will love it I'm sure and what a great adventure for you both. I was terrified to move to Kansas and not know anyone, but it was the best thing we ever did. You and Tannon will become even closer because all you have to rely on is each other and the gospel. I've met so many great people, gained a stronger testimony of the church and have had many missionary experiences. You guys will do great there and I wish you all the best luck! When do you move???

I'm ecstatic, sad, and hopeful all at the same time. Ecstatic that you're headed off on a new adventure. Sad that I might not be close by. Hopeful that we'll go to medical school somewhere close by. I'm so happy for you guys. Love you much.

From Brad Serafine: Tannon even though I'm a rabid anti-dentite, this is good news for you. I hope you'll like working in other people's mouths. You always had a smile that befitted either a toothpaste model or a handsome dentist or a polynesian supply store clerk. I'm glad you're chasing your dental dreams. Take a little puff of laughing gas before you work on anyone. Doesn't Jamie Dinger go to teeth school in Pittsburgh? I think he does. Think of us as you fly over Kansas on your way to PA. WOW! What a huge change! I felt the same way when Seth got his job in southern cali. It's not as far away but it's not exactly home either. It's scary but if you embrace it... it will be an awsome experience. Still scary though. Good luck girly!
