the past four {ish} years have been a bit of a roller coaster. i never thought it would be easy for us to start a family, but i couldn't have dreamt how difficult it's been.
{cue sappy full house music}. i can honestly say, though, that i am truly grateful for the time tannon and i have had to grow together. i feel that we have been strengthened as a couple and i have developed a deeper love for him.
there was a time that i was really struggling and it seemed that every time i turned around, clicked on a blog, or checked facebook, someone was announcing their 2nd or 3rd pregnancy. i couldn't help but wonder if i would ever be in that position.
so, if it seems as though i am not excited, i can assure you that i am. but, i am also very cautious. i have been let down too many times to skip right to the excitement.
can't wait for the munchkin to make his* debut.

McCall!!!! I am totally crying right now. Probably because I'm on my period, but mostly because I couldn't be happier for you! You guys are going to be the best parents. Other people may have gotten pregnant right away, but going through that struggle makes you so much stronger and a better parent. Not a day goes by where I don't look at Molly and appreciate her so much. Hang in there because it will shortly become a reality and I never believed it for myself until I was starting to push her out. I'm so happy for you! Praying that you will have a healthy and happy pregnancy. :)

Oh, McCall. I was about to cry when I saw the graphic before I read your words. This makes me so happy today. Congrats to both of you, I always knew you would make wonderful parents. Can't wait to hear more about what the future holds.

I haven't had the same trials with infertility and such that you have, but I have had others and I know Heavenly Father has a strange way of showing us that his plans for us are greater than the plans we have for ourselves. What a lucky little guy to come into a family that has been waiting for him for so long.

It was ultimately infertility of a family member that convinced me to have a baby and to NEVER take getting pregnant for granted. It truly is one of the greatest MIRACLES! Congratulations. Hope you're feeling well.
