happy 1 june '09

i heart june. it always delivers wonderful events. this is the month that i slipped into this earth. it is this month that school always got out for the summer, advancing me yet another year in school. june is the month of high school graduation. june means laying out pool-side and boating. june means the start of warm camping and as much rockclimbing as you can fit in. june means drive-ins with oversized Love Sac's. june is the month that brings my Kirton & McConkie career to a close.

i am actually VeRy sad to be leaving this place. it means i leave behind some of my best friends. i have ridden these elevators every single day for the past 4 1/2 years.

however, i can't even tell you how stoked i am to spend time with family and to do things i wouldn't normally get to do. i want to enjoy my last month & a half of residing in this beautiful state of Utah. i will miss it so.

Aw... Happy birthday girl! It is really hard leaving Utah, but it is so awesome to get out into the world and have new experiences. ( I would know, I'm just a year ahead of you!) It is scary at first but I know you guys will be happy and have a ton of fun when Tannon goes to school. Did you see they are making a movie out of Jodi Picoult's book "My Sisters Keeper". I read that on your recomendation and I really wish we could see it together. We miss you guys. Planning a road trip to VA anytime soon? xoxo

Happy Birthday soon McCall! I love June too, it's so beautiful. I love those pictures you put up of Utah, they are gorgeous. Maybe gorgeous enough to make you guys stay here??? That was a totally lame attempt. But we really are gonna miss you so much.

I'm sorry you have to leave behind those you love the most. I know the feeling, but PA will be an incredible adventure babe. I promise you'll learn to love it.

Utah will miss you too, at least as long as we are here. We walked by your house the other day and your car wasn't there, so I told Gav not to knock- He said, "Yeah, they must have already left for Vittsburg." :-) He is doing some mental preparation.

I'm trying not to think about you not at work everyday, but at least you are moving onward and upward in your life... ya know? I feel very lucky that I got to know you a little better from working together. (First volleyball.... than a break in high school because I was a hermit and only hung out with a bunch of dancers.... then the pearl store, thanks to Brittany... then Kirton & McConkie.... so you really have me to thank for the gloriousness and many years at K & M....don't worry I still tragically beat you in years at K & M because I haven't done anything new in a long long time.) Yay for a new adventure. At least we will always have the blogs that bind.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Callywog! I'm so excited for you and your new adventure. You're going to have so much fun these next couple of weeks with your fam. And then you're going to move out by ME!!! YAY! Remember that I'm going to be there for you whenever you need me and we can always meet half way, which means only a 2 hour drive. Love you!

Happy Birthday yesterday! It's funny because I still think about you on your birthday every year even though it's been ages since we've actually hung out. Hope you had a good day...and good luck with your new adventures!
